Presenting the Fairlawn Haven Photography Art Show & Sale!!!!
A friend of mine, Heather Ruffer of Heather Ruffer Photography, and I have been working on this project the last few months and we need your help! The fairlawn auction has been happening for lots of years but this year they decided to add a photography art show & sale in hopes of bringing in a new generation of attendees. The fairlawn auction has been happening for lots of years but this year they decided to add a photography art show & sale in hopes of bringing in a new generation of attendees. The art show and sale is for amateur photographers (those that do not get paid for their work) who would like to donate one of their photos to the silent auction. There are different age groups and 3 different categories- People/Pets, Nature/Landscape and Black & White that will be judged. First and second place ribbons will be awarded in each category for each age group and the Best of Show and Fairlawn Favorite photos will receive a monetary prize as well as get auctioned off at the Auxiliary Auction. All other photos will be displayed for sale through a silent auction on March 29 and 30.
Photos must be 8x10s, and we need the photos & entry forms by March 16 March 23. For all of the details please visit this link.
Without the help and generosity of donors (LIKE YOU!) events like this won't work- so please consider showcasing your work at the art show!
